NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

The Bodega Bay Public Utility District will test and flush fire hydrants.

The Bodega Bay Public Utility District will test and flush fire hydrants beginning on March 1, 2024 and to be completed by March 31, 2024.

OUR GOAL:  To continue a program started several years ago to prevent buildup of sediment from District water mains.

CUSTOMER CAUTION:  Some customers may experience particles and discoloration in their water as a result of the hydrant flushing.  The water is perfectly safe to drink, but not very appealing.  The District will do what it can to minimize this problem.  Should you experience particles or discolored water, it may be necessary to clear up the situation by allowing a moderate amount of water to flow through the pipes at your home or place of business.
